Recently Gov. Inslee issued an order to prohibit gatherings of 250 or more and to maintain social distance as a means to control the spread of the virus. Schools and sporting events have been canceled. Even though we are not in the 250 or more type of church, we are aware of the precautions needed. This being said we are planning on having our worship service this weekend. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Like everyone, we will continue to watch closely developments with the spread of COVID-19 from week to week. We want to be appropriately cautious without operating out of fear - "For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment. " - 2 Timothy 1:7; We plead the blood of Jesus over all of us for protection over ALL diseases!
That being said, we would encourage the following:
If you are exhibiting any symptoms of the disease (fever, coughing, shortness of breath), please stay home and we may get a podcast for you to enjoy online.
Instead of handshakes and hugs, respect people's concerns by replacing physical contact at church with smiles, and a shout of Hallelujah!
If you're in a vulnerable demographic (older with a history of respiratory issues) please take extra care of yourself and stay home. We want you to be safe.
Follow all the recommended guidelines on handwashing, avoiding touching your face, etc.
We disinfect our worship space every single week, regardless of any virus.
Keep an eye on our web site and social media as the situation continues to evolve. We will be sure to post any changes to our plans.
